Last week was National Apprenticeship Week, and you really engaged, retweeting the #BlazeATrail hashtag more than 61 times. The week aimed to highlight the positive impact apprenticeships have on individuals, businesses, local communities and the wider economy.

We’re proud to have more than 400 apprentices studying at the University of Salford. There are ten Degree Apprenticeship programmes across five of our schools, with several more in the pipeline.

Throughout the week-long campaign, we hosted a 'Twitter Takeover', focussing on some of our apprentices with daily articles and videos. Below are photographs of our apprentices in action, as well as a selection of snaps from Tuesday's Apprentice Award Ceremony.

Dr Lucy Smyth also explains why she offers a Degree Apprenticeships route on her course.

If you are interested in hosting a degree program, please contact Adele Jones by emailing a.k.jones@salford.ac.uk.
