Fourteen Student Experience Enhancement Projects given the green light
Dec 01, 2017
Last month we opened our second round of applications for Student Experience Enhancement Projects which aimed to directly benefit students and improve the student experience here at Salford. We’re pleased to share, out of 55 that were submitted, a total of 14 ideas really stood out and were approved for funding.
As a university we continuously aspire to put students at the forefront of our priorities and these projects truly reflected that. Ideas were varied, creative and had student experience at their absolute core.
Pro Vice-Chancellor Student Experience Dr Sam Grogan said: “The quality of applications was high and I’m grateful to all those who took the time to apply. The selected 14 showed innovation and resourcefulness and will help us to implement practical improvements here at Salford. I’m looking forward to seeing them all develop over the coming months.”
If you submitted an idea that wasn’t approved, please don’t be discouraged as there may be additional student experience funding opportunities in the future. In the New Year we plan to share an update with staff on all the projects that were given the go-ahead in 2017 so stay tuned.
