Remember the departed at our Day of The Dead event

Join us on 1 November to explore the themes of the traditional Mexican festival the Day of the Dead, when people remember and celebrate their loved ones.
Organised by the School Health and Society depts of Nursing and Counselling & Psychotherapy, it aims to raise awareness of the issues surrounding the end of life, grief and loss.
The event will provide a space for creative activities such as letter writing, poetry, music and performance to open debate around death and dying, debunking myths and challenging social and cultural taboos.
There will also be a variety of talks from a number of experts, including green funeral directors, representatives from different cultural groups, humanist funeral celebrant and specialist health and social care staff.
