Construction on Clifford Whitworth entrance starts from today
Oct 09, 2017
Following the successful completion of the first floor library space and group study rooms, the Library Development Project is on course to finish at the end of this year. With two full floors of Clifford Whitworth now complete and fully in use, works continue on the ground floor. As part of the refurbishment, there will be the new entrance canopy design.
From today (9 October) a temporary fence will be erected in front of the original former entrance off the Broadwalk. Staff and students will soon see a new canopy fascia installed, together with new lighting, signage, doors and new structure to box out the existing small circular columns. This work will create a more defined sense of arrival and compliment the fantastic internal ground floor refurbishment.
