Journalism students gain hands-on experience at dramatic emergency services simulation

You may remember a few weeks ago we notified colleagues that a large emergency simulation was due to take place outside the Old Adelphi building. Approximately 150 emergency service personnel will took part in the training, alongside the Salvation Army who was on site to provide refreshments for those involved.
Our students will play an active role in the simulation, with pupils from the School of Arts and Media filming the day for fire service training, as well as assuming acting and directing roles. This is another great example of how we provide real world opportunities for our students.
