Ten questions with...Patrick Kinsella
Aug 08, 2018
Every month we’ll be shining the spotlight on one colleague from across the University in our ‘Ten questions with…’ series.
First in the hot seat is Library Communications Coordinator Patrick Kinsella…
Favourite thing about your job?
Running the @salfordunilibrary Instagram.
Describe your average working day in three words.
Creating, convincing and laughing.
What inspires you?
Good music in my ears and *trying to* produce communications that actually impact people’s lives.
I play for Stretford Condors table tennis club, we won the Trafford second division this season. Bracing myself to be on the end of quite a few defeats in the first division next season!
Describe yourself with a hashtag.
A song you can listen to on repeat?
Frank Ocean – Self Control.
Favourite place in the world?
Manchester. Boring answer but I spend most of my winter attending gigs and you’d struggle to find a better city for doing that.
You are stuck on an island, you can pick one food to eat forever without getting tired of it, what would it be?
Endless supply of V-Rev hotdogs – they’re a vegan junk food diner in the Northern Quarter, I regularly take meat-eaters in there and they get hooked – really amazing food!
A book that everyone should read?
Sam Selvon – Lonely Londoners.
If you could have one superpower, what would it be?
Not a superpower but I’d love to have a top-spin table tennis shot that nobody could return!
