Volunteer at Winter Graduation 2017

Preparations are well underway for Graduation - a key event in the University’s calendar which will take place on 6 and 7 December 2017.
Once again the University Events Team are looking for volunteers to come along to Maxwell Hall, Peel Park Campus, to help out at the ceremonies.
The Graduation website is live and ready to take submissions from any colleagues – academic and support staff – who would like to be involved this year.
Laura Owen, University Events Manager, said: “We urge anybody who is interested in helping out at this year’s ceremonies to seek approval from their line managers before registering on the website. There are lots of ways to help out – anything from marshalling, greeting and ushering to assisting with registration or staffing the ticket and information desk."
Colleagues can help at just one ceremony or full days. Those who assist for a full day will be provided with vouchers that can be exchanged for food.
Laura added: “This is a great opportunity for colleagues across all areas to come together for a wonderful event which signifies the end of our students' journey; a chance to provide support in a different way and to connect with the students who are at the heart of everything we do. It really is a rewarding experience.”
