Invitation to the Vice-Chancellor's annual address to staff
Sep 06, 2017
Don’t miss the opportunity to hear Vice-Chancellor Professor Helen Marshall reflect on our recent achievements and talk about the academic year ahead on Tuesday 19th September in the Chapman Building. Our 50th anniversary year marks a significant milestone in our history as a University and her address will be an opportunity for us to come together as a whole to celebrate our many successes.
The sessions will be repeated three times throughout the day at 7.30am, 12pm and 1.15pm in Chapman 3; we hope all colleagues will be able to make one of the times. Each slot will last 45 minutes in total, which includes time for a short Q&A session at the end. There’s no need to book in advance – simply turn up at the time that suits you best!
Vice-Chancellor Professor Helen Marshall says: “I hope colleagues will take this opportunity to join me in Chapman - as well as recognising our recent achievements, I’ll be touching on the upcoming challenges our sector faces and how we plan to meet them head-on as a collective. We’re in a strong position as a University and I’m sure if we continue to work together we’ll grow even stronger. I’m looking forward to seeing you all on the 19th.”
