The HEA focuses on improving approaches to teaching and individual teaching practice, to help improve the student journey into, through and beyond higher education.
It also helps to raise the profile of teaching so that staff are recognised for their work and are motivated to keep developing their knowledge and careers.
Lynne said: “The senior fellowship involves producing a portfolio and case studies providing evidence of teaching, leadership and developmental work.
In my case this involved collaboration with stakeholders including NHS workforce planners, education commissioners, external examiners and senior NHS staff in the School of Health Sciences and the School of Nursing and Midwifery. It is lovely to be recognised for this award which underpins my commitment to a positive student experience.”
