As exciting as flying drones may be, there plenty of rules and regulations attached to using them whilst up in the air. If you’re using your drone strictly as a hobby – not for valuable consideration - a drone licence is not required as long as you follow the CAA regulations which you can find by clicking here. If you are flying a drone greater than 250 grams it must be registered with the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).

As many of you will be aware we are going through a period of significant change within the Business School which we are confident will see the school make great steps towards improving the experience for both students and staff. Carers Week, established by Carers UK 25 years ago, is an annual awareness campaign which takes place to celebrate and recognise the vital contribution made by the UK's 6.5 million carers. It is also a time of intensive local activity with hundreds of events planned for carers across the UK.
