The Alpine Glacier Project, which measures mountain meltwater quality and quantity, will continue this June, despite the tragic death of its founder Professor David Collins, DSc.

Please can all staff ensure fire doors around the campus are not kept ajar using objects. “We’ve noticed a rise in fire doors being wedged open in various buildings,” said Head of Security Trevor Jones. “This goes against our protocols; not only is this a security risk that can lead to increased crime, it’s also a fire hazard. Leaving fire doors open allows any fire to spread incredibly quickly.”
