Student Erika Ehler wins NW heat of Chortle Comedy Awards

We’re delighted to announce that Level 6 BA (Hons) Comedy Writing and Performance student Erika Ehler has just won the North West heat of the Chortle Student Comedy Awards, held at the New Adelphi Theatre earlier this week. Erika, who is an international student from our partner Humber College in Toronto, will now go on to the final held at the Edinburgh Festival in August.

It is with sadness that we report the sudden and untimely death of Mike Meaney last weekend. Mike was a Business Analyst in the then IT Services from March 2003 to July 2013. Since leaving the University Mike had 'retired' to pursue several interests, including helping to run his local rugby club, ski-ing, five-a-side football, badminton and holidaying.
